Zach music Tastes

Hey Zach,
I remember reading an interview from you ages ago, saying you don't really listen to music that much, and that when you're at home, if you want to hear some, you'd go and play some. First I was just wondering if that is true... And if not, what bands inspire you. I know it's a very common, boring question, and the best way to make original different music is to not be inspired by anything and create your own. It's just that I'm so inspired by your music, not saying that I could make anything half as good, but I can't stop thinking when I hear your songs, 'This is a song I wish I had written...'
Does that happen to you and with what band?

i do tend to just play music when im in the mood to hear something. bands i like off the top of my head - police,
talking heads, devo, xtc...i could name a ton more.

for some reason ive really been getting
into rush of all bands. i missed that boat when i was 15 .

im not so much into their songs as much as im into their musicianship. rush's musics puts me in the mood to write music , which i think is a great thing.
